Qatar360 collects and processes information about you when you choose Qatar360 as your service provider and when you use our products and services, including our Classifieds services, websites, apps, and social media. To personalize our services, such as when you sign in, your information is used to remember your settings, display personalized advertising as well as measure how effective our online adverts are, recognize you when you sign-in on different devices, and tailor our marketing communications based on what you read on our site or in the apps. Without this information, we may not be able to provide you with the highest services, or develop and improve upon those services, or meet our legal obligations.
- your IP address – a numerical code to identify your device and which can provide information about the country, region or city where you are based;
- details of your devices, for example, the unique device ID, unique advertising ID, and browsers used to access our content; and
- your browsing history of the content you have visited on our sites, including information on how you were referred to our sites via another website.
Qatar360 collects this data when you:
- register for an account on Qatar360.com;
- pay for an ad, a subscription or purchase any other products/services;
- attend our events;
- enter our competitions and surveys;
- sign up to our newsletters;
- post in our online community;
- sign up for marketing communications;
- use mobile devices to access our content;
- access our sites, through cookies and other similar technology; and
- when you contact us via email, social media, our apps, or similar technologies or when you mention us on social media.
Specifically, Qatar360 collects information for the following:
Qatar360 collects information to enable you to establish an account with us. When you register for a Qatar360 account, you are assigned a unique ID used to recognize you when you sign in to our services. This will recognize you if you sign in using the same account on a new device or through a different application such as the Qatar360 apps on mobile devices. Account information includes your name, address and contact information, your Qatari ID number or passport information, incorporation and authorization documents where relevant, and payment information to verify your identity and comply with applicable laws. We may collect this information at one of our retail outlets, over the phone or online. If you use your social media details to sign in to your Qatar360 account, you give permission to social media companies to share with us your email address and certain aspects of your profile.
Creating and maintaining a trusted and safer environment
When you register on Qatar360 site or with our apps, we will also collect information to authenticate you as a user and prevent others from compromising your account, including your user identification, your password, and secret security questions and answers.
Service and device usage information
Qatar360 collects information regarding how you use our services, including information about the calls you make and the websites you visit. We may also collect information about any of your service options including TV packages and movie rentals as well as your use of Qatar360 applications. We collect this information to help you manage your services with us, prepare accurate billing statements, improve your customer experiences, inform you of service updates and special promotions and offers for new products and services that may be of interest to you.
From time to time we may send you service emails, such as telling you your subscription is coming to an end or thanking you when you contribute or place an order with us.
Customer service and support
Qatar360 may monitor or record your call when you contact our customer service representatives to help us train employees and to better serve you. We will always let you know when we do so. If you contact us for technical service support, we may also access information about your computer, wireless device or other device settings to provide customized support or to install specific applications or services that you use or that are necessary for the applications or services you use.
If you have raised a query or a complaint with us, we may contact you to answer your query or to resolve your complaint.
Marketing and promotions
With your permission, Qatar360 uses information that you provide to us through your interactions with our services and platforms to send you promotional messages and advertisements that we think may be of interest to you, such as new Qatar 360 offers and updates. Depending on your marketing preferences, this may be by email, phone, SMS or post. Qatar360 also collects personal information when you enter a contest or participate in a sales promotion or prize draw, or respond to a voluntary customer satisfaction survey. This information is used to contact you in the event that you win a prize, improve our services, enhance your experience, and to develop new and better services or for market research purposes. You can decide not to receive these emails at any time and will be able to “unsubscribe” directly by clicking a link in the email.
Qatar360 may use your data to understand our users, promote our services, and operate our site and apps efficiently for the creation, publication, and distribution of news, media, and related online content. For example, we may use your data to analyze what content has been viewed on our site and apps so that we can understand how it is used or carry out marketing analysis to determine what products and services may be relevant to the interests of our users. Performance and diagnostic data
Posting content on our site and apps
When you post information in the Classifieds section of our site or in the apps, and comment or post publicly on an article or forum, the information you post and your username are publicly accessible. This information can be viewed online and collected by other people. Qatar360 is not responsible for the way these other people use this information. When contributing to a discussion, do not share any personal details, especially information that can be used to identify you directly such as your name, age, address and name of employer. Qatar360 is not responsible for any identifiable information that you post in our online community or other public pages of the site.
Additionally, Qatar360 apps use the information on the content you have viewed. A list of the information that you have recently viewed is cached in the local storage on your mobile device. You can delete this reading history in the settings of the app. Information on what you have viewed in the app and information on bugs and crashes is also sent to us. You can choose to receive notifications on your mobile device via the app. You can manage these notifications in the settings of the app.
Security of your personal data
Qatar360 has implemented appropriate technical and organizational controls to protect your personal data against unauthorized processing, and against accidental loss, damage or destruction. You are responsible for choosing a secure password when we ask you to set up a password to access parts of our sites or apps. Choose a password that you do not use on any other site and keep this password confidential. Do not share your password with anyone else, including anyone who works for Qatar360. In the unlikely event of unauthorized access, Qatar360 maintains continuous security and incident response plans and we will contact you and the relevant authorities in cases where a breach occurs that may cause serious damage to your personal data or privacy. Our employees are trained on the importance of protecting personal information privacy and on the proper access to, use and disclosure of such information.
Although Qatar360 will do our best to protect your personal data once with us, including encryption to keep your data private during exchange, sending information via the internet is not completely secure and Qatar 360 cannot guarantee the security of any personal data sent to our site while in transit, you provide such data at your own risk.
Sharing and Disclosing Information
Qatar360 may share your personal information as needed in order to provide you with the products and services that you have ordered, subscribed to or ported out. Data collected through cookies and similar technology with our advertising partners will also show you advertising on Qatar360.com website based on your browsing patterns on other sites that we have obtained from our advertising partners. This means that when you are on another website, you may be shown advertising based on your browsing patterns on Qatar360.com
When you sign up to our services, we may add to the personal data you give us by combining it with information shared with us by other trusted organizations. We may also obtain information from partners whose offers we include in some of our marketing communications and we use this information to ensure that we do not send you irrelevant marketing.
We also use the information on the content you have viewed on our sites and apps and your interaction with the content to add you to groups with similar interests and preferences so that we can make our online advertising more relevant. Sometimes we use data about your interests or demographics that third parties have collected from you online to add to these groups.
Qatar360 third-party vendors and partners
Qatar360 does not sell, or otherwise, provide your personal information to third-parties outside the Qatar360 family of businesses without your consent. Consent may be obtained as part of the application for our services, or subsequently through an online format, via SMS to your phone or other devices, in our stores or over the phone, including through interactive voice response systems. We use vendors and partners for a variety of business purposes to perform work on our behalfs such as transactions associated with credit/debit card processing, billing, shipping, repairs, customer service, auditing, and marketing of Qatar360 products and services. When Qatar360 shares personal information with these vendors and partners, we require them to protect it and only to use it for the purposes for which it was provided. We do not permit vendors and partners, for example, to use this information for their own marketing purposes.
Some of our web pages use social plug-ins from other organizations (such as the “Facebook Recommend” function, Twitter’s retweet function). These other organizations may receive and use personal data about your visit to our sites or apps. If you browse our site or view content on our apps, the information they collect may be connected to your account on their site. For more information on how these organizations use personal data, please read their privacy policies.
Qatar360 is entitled to publish the names, addresses and telephone numbers of its fixed-line customers or may provide this information to directory publishers, directory assistance services or other directory service providers. If you wish your fixed number to be unpublished, you must communicate this to Qatar360 and pay any relevant fees. Qatar360 does not publish directories of customer mobile phone numbers, and we do not make them available to others for listing in directories unless you request that we do so. We also provide the names and telephone numbers of mobile and fixed-line customers for Caller ID and similar services.
De-identified and aggregated information
Qatar360 may provide information about you that is aggregated with other customer information and does not identify you personally, to third-parties for market research. This research supports the development of our new products and services, improves existing services and helps us better understand consumer choices and preferences.
Our legitimate interests
Legal process & protection
Qatar360 may have a legal obligation to use or keep your personal data for any law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority or other organization if we are required to do so to meet a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of anyone else. Qatar360 is also legally required to provide information about your credit history to Qatar’s Credit Bureau.
How long we keep your personal data
Qatar 360 keeps your personal data only for as long as necessary, depending upon the use, such as (but not limited to) answering your queries about a product or service or for subscription accounting purposes. Once your data is no longer needed it will be deleted or made anonymous by removing all details that identify you. However, when you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we will keep your email address to ensure that we do not send you any marketing in the future.
How Can You Limit the Sharing and Use of Your Personal Information
You can limit the collection of certain information by deleting or disabling cookies on your computer or device. However, keep in mind that disabling cookies may also prevent you from using specific features on these sites, including ordering products or services and maintaining an online account.

Qatar 360 supports parents and guardians in protecting the safety and privacy of their children online. Qatar360 does not aim any of our products or services or intentionally collect, use, or disclose information about children under the age of 13. Some of our services may have a higher age restriction and you will be informed of such when you register your account. If you allow a child to access your device and our services, be aware their information may be inadvertently collected as described in this policy.
Accessing and Updating Your Information
Qatar360 will maintain customer records as accurately as possible. Once you complete your account registration with Qatar360.com you will have access to a profile page. Under “Profile & Settings” you can review what information is public when you comment on our posts or in the forums. You can also update your information or provide extra information if you want. If you believe any of your personal information is inaccurate and need assistance with correcting your information please contact our Support Helpdesk at support@Qatar360.com.
You have the right at any time to ask us to delete your personal data or restrict how it is used. There may be exceptions to the right to erasure for specific legal reasons which, if applicable, will be detailed in our response to your request. Blogs and Social Networking—Information You Share
Some Qatar360 websites, apps and services may allow you to participate in blog discussions, message boards, chat rooms, and other forms of social media and to post reviews. These forums are accessible to others and any information you post can be read, collected, shared, or otherwise used by anyone who accesses the forums. If you post content to information sharing forums on the Internet, you are doing so by choice and you are providing consent to the disclosure of this information.
